The client for The Moorings was always fond of referring to it as (being located at) “No 1 Swan River”. It was on this premise that we based the landscape architectural theme. Working closely with the Swan River Trust and the City of Fremantle a foreshore management strategy was developed and fully implemented as an extension to the strict scope of the site works.
The landscape development theme within the site took on more of a resort style though still paying due tribute to its riverine location.
