'The Bridges' was the second village in the Ellenbrook project. Our first and possibly most significant contribution to the project was to talk the client out of privatising the lake edge.

As an integral part of the planning and design team Blackwell & Associates were then responsible for generation the concepts and finished designs for the lake and surrounding public open spaces.

This work included designing and detailing the lake including the interrelationship between the public and private domains, plus full documentation of the hard and soft landscape works including the lakeside boardwalks, campanile and the main pedestrian bridge.
